What are Rich Snippets?
Rich snippets (also known as rich results) appear in search results but with a lot more information than a snippet from your usual ‘run of the mill’ search result. Rich snippets have a higher click-through rate.
There are hundreds of different data types that you can choose for your rich snippets – whether you are recruitment agency looking to take advantage of the Google Jobs platform or a food creator wishing to share your easy chocolate brownie recipe, chances are there data types available to you. The benefit of these is also that the rich snippets usually appear top of a users search query.
